t Alchemy, we look to the natural world for inspiration, creating colors and colorways which are harmonious and vibrant. We offer two broad categories of color: Elements and Colorways.

Elements: the Semi-Solids are easily divided into the natural elements of FIRE, EARTH, WATER, AIR and METAL. Within each of these five elements, we offer a total of 44 colors. Because our yarns are hand painted rather than immerse dyed, there is a subtle variegation in the Elements, which lends a rich, luminous quality to the fibers.

Colorways: Alchemy' s multi-color hand paints exhibit unique qualities that set us apart from other well-respected hand paint manufacturers. Utilizing time-honored Fine Art techniques, we create colorways that transcend the typical in multicolor hand paint experience. We focus on subtle progressions of color, giving a smooth and integrated feel, rather than a segmented, striping approach.
